We require a copy of the City Permit with your application.

If your application is not accepted, the fees and all photos will be returned to you. No refunds will be given after May 23, 2008. If your application is approved a copy of a signed contract by the LVFA will be sent to you. Please do not assume that you have been accepted!
There will be a $25.00 NSF Service charge for all bounced checks.

Any items determined to be offensive by any LVFA Yellow Jacket must be removed. Absolutely NO subletting of spaces.
COMMERCIAL CENTER CONTRACT
FLOWER FESTIVAL - JUNE 25-29, 2008

This AGREEMENT made this _____ day of _____, 2008, by and between the Lompoc Valley Festival Association (hereinafter referred to as LVFA) and the undersigned Vendor for the lease of exhibit space in the Commercial Center at the 2008 Flower Festival being held June 25-29, 2008. The parties herein agree as follows:

USE OF SPACE:
The space will be available for use by Vendors from 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 24, 2008, through 6 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2008. You must haul your own merchandise in, there will be no help provided.
Electrical- Vendor is responsible for providing their own power cords and multi-plug adapters. All extension cords must be the three pronged style, and be in good condition. Only multi-plug adapters with fuses will be permitted. All cords must be taped to carpet to prevent falling. Lights must meet commercial fire code. Please see attached Fire Safety sheet.
Leased space shall be used for the following purpose(s) and NO other:
CONTRACT DATES: Vendor having submitted an application with all required fees, current Certificate of Insurance and Sellers Permit and having been approved by LVFA is hereby offered a Contract for the period June 25-29, 2008.
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
A. LOGO USE: Vendor shall not be permitted to use any LVFA logos on any items for display or sale without the express written consent of LVFA.
B. EXHIBIT INSTALLMENT: Vendors are required to check in with the Commercial Chairman prior to set-up for instructions. Access to the leased area will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2008. Set-up is 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2008, and 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wednesday June 25, 2008. Vendors must notify LVFA if they plan to pre set up on Tuesday June 24, 2007. You must haul your own merchandise in, there will be no help provided. SECURITY is provided after hours Wed., Thurs., Fri., & Sat. nights ONLY.
NOTE: Commercial Center entrance dimensions are 23 feet wide by 6 feet high.
C: EXHIBIT HOURS: Vendors are required to be open as follows:
June 20, 2007 Noon - 10 p.m.
June 21, 2007 Noon - 10 p.m.
June 22, 2007 Noon - 10 p.m.
June 23, 2007 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.
June 24, 2007 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
BOOTHS MUST BE MANNED during these hours. There are no optional sale hours or days. If you have a canopy, your canopy must not exceed the size of your paid booth space (10x10 or 10x20) if it does, you will be asked to remove it.
D. EXHIBIT CLOSING: Commercial Center vendors will be allowed to start tear-down at 6 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2008. All booths shall be vacated and items removed no later than 8 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2008.
E. Vendor shall, at all times, keep the leased space and immediate surrounding area neat, clean, safe and free of debris, no empty boxes should be seen.
No fires, open flame or charcoal, nor electric heaters will be allowed in the Commercial Center.
F. Vendor shall comply with all applicable statues, laws, ordinances and regulations. Upon any violation immediate action will be taken by LVFA to correct same.
G. A City of Lompoc Sellers Permit is required. Contact the City Clerk, 100 Civic Center Plaza for complete details.
H. LVFA reserves the right to adopt such rules and regulations as it deems necessary for the safe, efficient and productive operation of the Flower Festival. Vendor agrees to abide by such rules and regulations. Vendor and vendors employees shall conduct themselves in a courteous manner while utilizing leased area.
I. No smoking or consumption of alcoholic beverages is allowed in the Commercial Center.
J. Vendor shall not display, sell or give away products outside the leased area. No roving is permitted. All merchandise, products and vendor personnel must stay within the leased space. Overheads and canopies must remain inside leased space.
K. Only items listed on Vendor application and approved by LVFA may be displayed and sold.
No food nor drink items are to be sold.
Products for sale and display must be legal and morally unoffensive.
L. Vendor, by executing this Contract, releases LVFA from any liability for personal injury or property damage arising out of the use of the leased space.
M. Absolutely no Subletting of spaces.
N. In the event of a breach of this Contract by Vendor, LVFA shall be entitled to terminate this Contract and to retain any fees paid by Vendor as restitution for damages. If LVFA breaches this Contract its liability is limited to the amount of rental fee paid by Vendor.
O. Vendor shall indemnify and hold LVFA harmless from any loss or expense arising out of any claim for personal injuries or property damage as a result of Vendors use of the leased space.
P. LVFA will not sign for, accept or store merchandise for Vendors.
Q. If accepted, no refunds, no exceptions.
R. Vendors are not allowed to use tape, nails or any such materials on the tennis court floor. Offenders will be requested to leave without a refund and will be responsible for all damages. It is advisable to inspect your area prior to set-up and tear-down. Any problems should be reported to the Commercial Center Chairman immediately. The LVFA charges a $100.00 cleaning deposit which will be refunded after the show, if your space is clean, and no damage has been done to the space.
S. LVFA reserves the right to maintain a vendor booth with any item(s) or product(s) as long as said booth is manned by LVFA members.
T. Vendors will be issued two (2) parking pass (this is not for RV overnight parking) for the period June 25-29, 2008. Passes will be honored at pre-designated areas ONLY and must be displayed in vehicles driver side window while parked. Failure to display passes will result in vehicle being towed at owners expense. Additional parking passes may be purchased at the Festival Office, 414 West Ocean Avenue.
U. SECURITY- Security is provided by LVFA in Ryon Park from closing to 10 a.m. only. LVFA assumes no liability for any loss of Vendors display or property. Vendors are discouraged from leaving an excess amount of property in the leased booth unless said booth is manned. Security passes are necessary prior to 10 a.m.
V. Vendor understands that vehicle access to the Commercial Center is limited and under the direct control of LVFA. Vendors are required to obtain authorization and directions from the Commercial Center Chairman each time vehicle access is required. Failure to obtain authorization and to follow directions will result in vehicle being towed at owners expense and Vendor will be denied future vehicle access to the Commercial Center.
W. **Please be advised** If your payment is returned to us from the bank; this contract is void; and you will not be attending our event this year.
X. Music can be played INSIDE your booth as long as it doesn’t bother your neighbors. If the music is offensive or to loud, the Commercial Chairman or the Park Chairman will ask you to turn off the music. If you fail to turn off your music when asked, your booth will be shut down.
