Arts and Crafts Rules


SET UP AND DISPLAY RULES

1. Spaces will be assigned by the Chairman. You will have the same space all three days. Accepted applicants will receive a map with their space number clearly marked.

2. Each participant shall be responsible for their own set-up and display. Set-ups MUST BE COMPLETE BY 11 A.M. Each day. Each space is approximately 10 by 20 on a grassy area. Displays over 8 feet high are discouraged due to gusty winds. Displays should be anchored to prevent turning over. The park does not provide overnight security.

3. Exhibitors shall remain with displays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

4. Space and time in the park is limited. Please unload and remove your vehicle from the area as quickly as possible, to allow fellow exhibitors to do the same.

5. Driving in the park is not allowed during show hours (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and/or is determined by the Festival authorities. All vehicles must unload and leave the display area by 10:45 a.m. or be towed out of the park at owners expense.

VENDOR INFORMATION

1. Space is limited; there are 47 spaces that are available on a first come, first served basis.

2. Booth Space is approximately 10’x 20’ on a grassy area.

3. Clean up is your responsibility.

4. You must submit a complete list of items to be sold from your booth space. Items not listed on your application may NOT be sold from your booth.

5. Vendors are responsible for their own Insurance (1,000,000 Liability, see attached sample for wording), City of Lompoc Permit, and State of California Sellers Permit.

6. LOGO USE: Exhibitor shall not permit any Lompoc Valley Festival Association logos to be used on any items for sale or display by exhibitor without the express written consent of the Lompoc Valley Festival Association.

7. NO DOGS ALLOWED (other than registered Seeing Eye dogs, per City Ordinance 1271 (87).

8. Any infraction of the rules shall disqualify you and you will forfeit your display space.

RULES & REGULATIONS

• Method of Payment: Personal Checks, Money Orders, MasterCard and Visa will be accepted. No checks will be accepted after April 6th, 2012. The processing fee for returned checks is $50.00.

• Cancellations, Refunds, Rain: No refunds will be given after April 6th, 2012, for any reason, including rain. Rain does not cancel this event. You may cancel before April 6th, 2012 for any reason, but there will be a $25 bookkeeping fee.

Items NOT ALLOWED to be sold:

• No Gang related Items or clothing

• No knives, No swords

• No weapons of ANY kind

• No drug related paraphernalia

• No pornographic and/or offensive and/or obscene items

DATES AND LOCATION OF SHOW: APRIL 27, 28, 29, 2012 at Ryon Park, West Ocean Avenue at "O" Street, Lompoc, CA.

INFORMATION FOR OUT-OF-TOWN VISITING EXHIBITORS: This event is held outdoors in a City Park. The weather is Lompoc in April is often cool in the mornings and evenings. Be sure to bring a sweater or jacket.
